Our Story

In the year 1999 after the Super cyclone, few committed youth volunteers decided to streamline their efforts devoted to the under-privileged traditional art and craft community of Dhenkanal to provide two square meals through this traditional work. The volunteers decided to formalize it as a nonprofit Traditional craft-based livelihood Development organization and thus WORLD ACT INDIA is created and established n 2000 in the remote village of Dhenkanal district.
